Mooneeram Landscape Architects — previously Mooneeram Associates Ltd — is the first landscape architecture firm in Mauritius, established in February 2002. Over more than two decades we have shaped smart cities, resorts, parks and private estates across the island and the Indian Ocean. Our team of internationally qualified landscape architects, masterplanners and designers is led by founder Ashvin Mooneeram.

Our Practice
Mooneeram Landscape Architects, previously known as Mooneeram Associates Ltd, is the first Mauritian landscape architectural firm, operating since February 2002. For 23 years we have established our signature in landscape architecture in Mauritius — and we are ready to move up a gear.

Our Team
A unique group of internationally qualified professionals — landscape architects, masterplanners, landscape designers, architectural technologists, landscape consultants, irrigation specialists and experienced CAD technicians — who share the same passion for our environment, nature and art. The team is headed by Ashvin Mooneeram.

A vast spectrum of projects over 23 years, each handled with the same passion and commitment. Deep knowledge of local plant species and hardscape materials suited to Mauritian ground and climate, a strong multi-disciplinary team spirit, and working relationships with the island's main landscapers, irrigation specialists and civil contractors.

Founder & Director
Ashvin Mooneeram
Ashvin Mooneeram is the first Mauritian landscape architect. He trained and graduated in the United Kingdom at Leeds Metropolitan University (now Leeds Beckett University) in 1998, and drove government policy and initiatives at a national level as landscape architect for the Ministries of Environment, Agro Industry and Public Infrastructure from 1999 to 2000. Over 27 years of practice he has completed more than 300 projects — from residential developments and resorts to smart cities, public and private parks — and worked on overseas assignments in Dubai, India, Seychelles, Rodrigues, Ghana and Madagascar.
