Landscape strategy for the whole city — entrances, road reserves, flood parks, the shoreline with its mangroves, and the historical limekiln.
Our philosophy can be summarised by two key words: Integration and Adaptability. The whole thinking and design process has been geared towards preserving and enhancing those existing elements — the rural character, micro climates and ecologically sensitive zones of the site. We have defined the general landscape strategy for the whole city and developed our design for the main entrance and the rest of the road reserves, flood parks which are unique in Mauritius, the shoreline with the mangroves, and the area around the historical limekiln.
